Vision Statement

1. To provide an opportunity for correctional professionals to explore shared Western Issues. 
2. To assist state, provincial, and regional associations in the professional development of their members;and 
3. To promote,educate, and inform the public regarding correctional issues.

Affiliations

Western Correctional Association is affiliated with American Correctional Association and the American Parole and Probation Association. 

Cooperation with Other Professional Organizations

This Association cooperates with other justice system agencies in the expansion and development of parole, probation, and correctional work throughout the country. The Association cooperates with all state and provincial associations in their programs and work. 

Membership Affiliation

Professional, correctional associations and organizations located in, or are in states and provinces contiguous to: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, and the Canadian Province of British Columbia are eligible to be affiliates. Membership will commence upon payment of the annual dues and completion of the affiliate membership contract.
