Grown Pinot Noir Winemakers's Reserve has been
awarded the Vinea d'Or (Gold Medal) two years
in a row by the Concours Mondial du Pinot Noir,
in Sierre, Switzerland.

Our handcrafted wines are produced utilizing the best of Old
World traditional winemaking methods, including ageing in French
oak barrels, as well as New World innovations.
Cool viticulture climate, care of the land, varietal characteristics
that express the vineyard terrior lay a strong foundation for
the creation of Stangeland wines. Grapes, handpicked in the
cool morning hours, flow to the winery where minimal
handling of the
wine, gravity feed, quality assurance and attention to detail
help to create wines of execptional quality, taste and affordability.
Currently our wines include international award winning
estate grown Pinot noir and vineyard designated Pinot
noirs, Chardonnay,
Pinot gris, Gewurztraminer, and Chardonnay glace. Our tasting
room, located in the heart of our vineyard, offers wine tasting
and unique gift items including specialty sized bottles of
wine.

their Reserve Pinot Noirs from the 1998, 1999, 2000
and 2001 Vintages including two Gold medals in Europe.

Memorial
Day Weekend
As a member of the Polk County Wineries Association, our special Tastevin Tour
is held on Memorial Day each year, and we are celebrating our 23rd year of this
event. Visit the other twelve wineries who also are part of this association,
and sample a variety of wines, estate and non-estate, semi-sweet wines, champagne
and special berry wines. It is an ideal time to wind through country roads and
visit these wineries, all within a 20-minute radius, tasting old favorites and
new releases.
Labor Day Weekend
We are open all three days of this holiday weekend, and release a new wine
at this time. The vineyard is busy, as harvest time is almost here, and the
grapes are ripening. It is an excellent time to see your wine on the vine!
Thanksgiving
Weekend
The last three-day weekend before the end of the year,
start your Holiday Season with wine tasting and hot hors
d'oeuvres at Stangeland. Our celebration includes
special pricing on wine by the case, beautiful wooden-boxed, over-sized bottles
of Reserve wines, a variety gift-giving boxes for your wines, and an assortment
of gifts from the Stangeland Shop. Enjoy a cozy time while Holiday shopping
at Stangeland.
