A broadcaster devoted to frenetic Chinese classical music or a jammer? You be the judge! No ID, no voice-over, nuthin' but Chinese music!
The Chinese Music Jammer was first heard in January of 2002.
Transmissions:
Chinese instrumental folk music / Chinese instrumental music - "Dragon Dance"
- Special nonstop compilation.
- Loop playback from hard drive.
- Duration of 1 cycle - 1hr 00 min 00.2 sec
- 1st or 2nd program of Chinese National Radio.
Jamming modulation:
(a) Programs of China National Radio in non-distorted AM mode for
long distance high power (100-500 kW) sky-wave operation.
(b) Programs of China National Radio in Narrow FM - mostly for local
(ground-wave) operation.
- Most suitable time for reception in Europe: from 1600 to 0900 UTC.
- Chinese musical jamming is targeted at Radio Free Asia, Voice of
America, BBC, Deutsche Welle, Falun Dafa and other stations.

Usually between 30% and 80% of the used frequencies may be heard
in Europe at the same time. The frequency that propagated best in
Europe during July 2002 was 15680 kHz: daily from 1400 to 2200 UTC.
You may hear 1, 2 or more jamming transmitters on the same frequency
at the same time.
