call the Pregnancy Counseling and Information Center. I was told about a Bible study for women who have had abortions. My daughter said she wouldn't come to the group unless I came too.
We studied about being forgiven and set free. My daughter came full circle and started to deal with her life and the decisions she had made. I watched as my daughter worked through different emotions and begin to love life again. The other women were blessed by my young daughter. I began to see my decisions and my part in her abortion experience.
I would encourage anyone who has gone through an abortion experience to take this class. It was not what I expected; it was more than I expected. I didn't know that the truth would really set my daughter free: free to be who God had called her to be; free to know that she was forgiven; free to know the power of God's love; free to know that she will be able to help others in her situation.
My daughter helped another woman decide not to get an abortion, by sharing her story. I've also had the opportunity to share my experience with a number of women and show them that abortion is not the only way.
