April...

The 2004 Pinewood Derby was a big success!  We had 29 cub scouts racing for first place!  Not only was the racing close, but the judging for workmanship and design was equally tough due to all the hard work put in by the boys!  Here are the final results::

Design Awards

Best Design - Thomas Hoffman
Best Paint Job - Matthew Miner
Most Original - Thomas Giruc

Blue/Gold Banquet

Was a great success! All ten 2nd year Webelos crossed over and all got their Arrow of Light award! The boys are already beginning to settle into the Troops they joined. Congratulations and good luck in the future!  Check out all the pictures.

Thank you to Karon Willburn and Anne and Zach Johnston for helping to set up and to everyone pitching in to clean up so Randy Gower could dry mop the floor.

December News

Scouting for Food Update

Thanks to all the hard work of the scouts and volunteers that participated December 7th for the 2002 Scouting For Food drive. All the food collected will go to St. Vincent DePaul.  Check out our pictures of scouts in action.

Thank-You

A big Thank You to Ken Weathers and Stephanie Tuttle who both volunteered to fill pack positions.  Ken will be our assistant cub master and Stephanie will be a committee member and Religion coordinator.  We couldn't do it without you -- thanks!

Caroling anyone??

All Scouts and their families who are interested in caroling can do so Wednesday night, December 18th.  This would be our normal pack night, but since there is no pack meeting... come caroling instead.  If interested, show up in the Queen of Peace parking lot at 6pm.  Please remember to bring a flashlight and dress warmly!

No Pack Meeting in December

Remember, there will not be a pack meeting this month.  Instead, come caroling...
