Summer Ag Institute

Get three credits and learn how agriculture can be used as a theme for teaching math, science, social studies and English to enhance achievement of Education Reform Standards. SAI is a dynamic, educational fun-packed week of learning about our nations number one employer, Agriculture.

Two hundred dollars ($200) is the cost of attending the week-long institute. You get tuition for three graduate credits, housing, meals, transportation, classroom-ready curriculum and resources. What a deal!

Come and experience agriculture first-hand with tours of processing plants and field trips to farms and forests. Hands-on labs and lectures are taught by university professors and professionals from the agricultural industry. The highlight of the week is an overnight stay on a working farm or ranch where you have an opportunity to meet real agriculturists.

Kindergarten through 12th grade teachers may attend either or both sessions. (Agricultural instructors are not eligible.)
