The Bible says in Titus 3:5
He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.
He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,

It says in Ephesians 2:8
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--

If you want to know Jesus as your Savior, simply pray "Lord, I want to trust in your mercy and righteousness instead of my own. Please forgive my sins, come into my heart, and be my Lord. Amen"
