History of the FireBall

In the winter of 1923, Fredd Bloggs was waiting for the elementary school bus in rural Ohio. Two bullies came by the bus stop, and took the contents of his lunch pail. When the bus arrived, the driver found poor Fredd sitting in the snow, crying. The driver managed to get Fredd onto the bus, but the poor boy was very embarrassed to have tears running down his face. Especially since Julie was sitting in the front row.

But what bothered Fredd more than the embarrassment, or the loss of his lunch, was that he had his favorite candy in that lunch pail, a cherry flavored gobstopper (jaw breaker). Fredd vowed there and then that he would find a way to get back at those bullies.

That night, Fredd snuck into the kitchen for some items, then went down to the basement. Once there he started mixing up a concoction of pepper and spices in water. He hoped to coat a gobstopper in this mixture, to get back at those bullies. Fredd managed to make up about a half-dozen of the 'red hot' gobstoppers.

The next day, once again, the bullies stole his lunch, including the now laced gobstoppers. Fredd was giddy all day, for he knew he'd played a good trick on the bullies.

On the following day, the bullies showed up again, this time instead of stealing his lunch pail they said "give us some more of those spicy gobstoppers". Well he didn't make up any more, he figured they wouldn't want any more! So, they beat him up and took his lunch.

Fredd got to thinking. Maybe those 'red hot' gobstoppers were a pretty good idea! So that night, after explaining to his father that he'd fallen down in the playground, he made up 2 dozen of the new 'red hot' gobstoppers.

The bullies were glad to find that Fredd had them, and they only pushed him down this time. But they left him with his lunch. Fredd managed to save a few of the hot gobstoppers, which he gave to his friends at school. When his friends asked what he called them, he didn't have the faintest idea. After several questions, he finally decided to call them 'bullystoppers'.

The bullies didn't like this, so they stole his lunch the next day and pushed him down. When he hit the ground he thought to himself, "hey, that hurt". In fact he felt like he was on fire, and that is where the name FireBalls comes from.

Actually they were called Fireballs because when he tasted them for the first time. He wanted to try them, because the bullies liked them. His mouth was burning so thats why he called them Fireballs because he said,\"my mouth is on fire!\" Thought you should have the right info on your site
