Interview with Turner fire chief

by Ariel & Mandy
We had a chance to interview the chief of the Turner Fire Department. His name is Kevin Henson. He likes his job a lot. We also asked him why he does his job, and he said, “I like to help people, and I like to build fire departments.”
Chief Henson just moved here a couple of months ago. He has been in every kind of fire you can imagine: wild fires, house fires, hotel fires, airplane fires, and car fires. We asked him if it was scary going in a fire and his reply was, “Absolutely.” He says they work hard to save lives like ours.
If you ever want to become a volunteer fire fighter just call his number: (503) 743 2190.
