Turner students read 61,019 minutes for reading week

Turner Fear Factor

Hi, Turner. Do you remember reading week? Well, I do. We had to read 50,000 minutes in order to have Mrs. Moorefield participate in Turner Fear Factor. We had a week of reading games and activities for reading week.

First we had a Queen of Hearts Day where some classes played card games. A story teller named, John Dashney, came to tell each class one or two of his stories. After that it was Mad Hatters Day, where students could wear their favorite crazy or silly hat. The last day of reading week was our Read-In. We passed our goal and read 61,019 minutes.

Mrs. Moorfeild sticks her hand in a jar of swamp punch with “bugs,“ while Mrs. Wyman helps.
