The Oregon Zoo Birds of Pray show was on March 14. This show brought a number of birds, some close to extinction, some doing well, to show the students at Turner. Shannon Lamonica and Cathi Wright brought and showed us the birds. Some of the birds were big and some small, but all were unique.
The types of birds they had were meat eaters. We saw an owl, hawk, vulture, and a bald eagle, plus many more. If we didnt have birds around our homes they would be infested with rats and mice. Even if you have cats they dont compare to how many rats and mice birds kill in a year. These birds can help us learn to appreciate all living things because all living thing are important.
