This is my Fox Model I bassoon. The Model I is a long bore instrument and they are currently being shipped at a price of appx. $15,000 US. Mine has many custom options. Fox has prices ranging up to $24,000 as does Heckel. I've owned two Heckels previous to this instrument. The last was ser. #11,265. I wish that I still had it but this Fox plays every bit as well.
The midi files offered on my music page are best heard on an external synthesizer of high quality, but they will play on your onboard software synth (QT Musical Instruments, Yamaha, etc.) or soundcard.
